After slashing the price of the Ioniq 6 by up to $4,100 for the 2024 model year, Hyundai appears happy with the label on its highly regarded electric sedan. The majority of trim levels see price increases of just $250 for 2025; everything else remains the same. The top-of-the-line Limited is the sole vehicle that isn't affected; it now comes with a standard head-up display and costs $850 more. Powertrain Specs and Range

With an EPA-estimated range of 240 miles, the entry-level Ioniq 6 SE Standard Range boasts a 53 kilowatt-hour battery pack. There is only one electric motor, located on the rear axle, and it produces 258 pounds-feet of torque and 149 horsepower.

The Ioniq 6 highlights the impact that wheel size has on the range of electric vehicles; heavier wheels need more energy to spin. The big-battery SE grade level, with 18-inch wheels, can go 342 miles with RWD and 316 miles with AWD. With standard 20-inch rims, the SEL and Limited's range decreases to 291 miles with rear drive and 270 miles with all-wheel drive. The Ioniq 6 highlights the impact that wheel size has on the range of electric vehicles; heavier wheels need more energy to spin. Safety Equipment and Trim Levels

Even the base 2025 Ioniq 6 is a technological showcase with its comprehensive list of standard safety features: forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, intersection assist that watches for pedestrians and bicyclists during turns, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, lane-centering steering, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, a driver-attention monitor, safe-exit warning, a rear-seat reminder, automatic high beams, and front and rear parking sensors.

Keyless entry and starting, a power trunk, and LED front and rear lighting are additional features that come standard with the SE Standard Range. Cloth seats, a driver's seat with power adjustment, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, six speakers, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are among the inside features. The SE Standard Range’s infotainment system consists of a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The longer battery life of the long-range SE is complemented with heated front seats and a heat pump, which provides more efficient heating and cooling of the cabin than the normal climate control system.

Hyundai packs the SEL with even more safety features, including blind spot intervention, emergency steering assistance, forward cross-traffic alert and oncoming traffic alert, and Highway Driving Assist 2, which combines adaptive cruise control and lane-centering steering for a degree of hands-on semi-autonomous driving. In addition, the SEL has wireless smartphone charging, ambient lighting, synthetic leather, and Digital Key, which enables users to utilize a paired phone as the car key.

The Limited still has more technology, like as blind spot cameras, automated parking, a 360-degree parking camera, and a now standard head-up display. The Limited also comes equipped with a heated steering wheel, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof.
